Prize Giving

Yesterday, on the last day of the academic year, the children set off with great excitement to Connaught Square for a celebration of achievement — to receive their certificates and to cheer on the select few who were awarded personalised book prizes, trophies, medals, and more.

The much-anticipated final tally revealed the winner of this year’s House Trophy; Congratulations to Clifton House. Three hearty cheers were given for both houses and all the staff for a year of hard work and shared success.

Chess Success

Congratulations to Luca in Form Two for his Chess success. He scored a perfect score of 7 out of 7 in the Senior Chess Tournament 2025. Ms Jackson presented Luca with his medal for his successes on Monday. All games were played under match conditions, and all players conducted themselves in a sporting fashion. Well done, Senior Chess Club!

New Parents Information Evening and New Children’s Picnic

On Wednesday, Mrs Wells and Mrs Hampton welcomed the new Junior One Parents in for an informative introduction to the next academic year and what to expect at the beginning of their journey at CHS. A special thank you must be given to the Chair and Vice Chair of the Parents Fundraising Committee, Mrs Canalda and Mrs Thyselius, who spoke about CHS Parent Fundraising Committee and how to join. Thank you to Maxi, Form Six, who stepped in with short notice as CHS pupil ambassador and spoke with the new parents on his pathway through CHS.

Following this, the new Junior One children were welcome to join Mrs Wells, Ms Pluskowska and Mrs Hampton for a little picnic in Hyde Park, singing a variety of nursery rhymes and meeting their new classmates.
