Our Kitchen
All food is freshly prepared and cooked on site by our dedicated CHS kitchen team. We believe that well-nourished children are better learners, so we take our menus seriously.
We are committed to sourcing our ingredients ethically and sustainably, and make every effort to ensure the products we use are responsibly farmed, fairly traded, and environmentally considered.
Summer Term Menus
Allergens & dietary needs
All food is prepared fresh in our on-site kitchen using carefully selected ingredients. Our kitchen handles some of the 14 major allergens: celery, cereals containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley & oats), eggs, fish, lupin, milk, mustard, soybeans, and sulphur dioxide & sulphites. A vegetarian alternative is available every day.
Our kitchen avoids nuts, nut products, sesame and sesame products, pork, shellfish and molluscs. This policy extends to all packed lunches brought in for school trips; please ensure no nuts, nut products, sesame or hummus are included.
We will always make every effort to cater for children with food allergies and dietary requirements. This includes preparing gluten-free and dairy-free alternatives where needed. If your child has a specific allergy or dietary requirement, please contact the school office before the start of term so we can ensure the right provision is in place.
