The sun is shining brightly this afternoon as we welcome back most of our classes following their exciting school trips.

What an eventful week we have had, setting the stage for a half-term brimming with exciting activities!

What a whirlwind the first half of the summer term has been!

We all welcomed the summer weather just in time for the obligatory change of uniform on Tuesday morning.

This week has been a bit of a whirlwind for us at CHS! Thank you once again for all your continued support with the unexpected turn of events yesterday.

Mrs Hampton started the summer term off with an assembly welcoming all the children back to CHS and learning a little about St Georges's Day.

The sun shone this morning, making it the perfect backdrop for the children's Easter egg hunt.

Our penultimate week of term has been a busy one, starting with a whole-school assembly and ending with our superb annual Open morning.

On Monday the whole school was treated to a variety of musical performances by their fellow pupils.

Thank you for joining us this afternoon for another wonderful Poetry Recital at the Carisbrooke Hall.

We kicked off the week celebrating International Women’s Day with an assembly led by Mrs Wells.

Our week started with a whole-school PSHE assembly on Monday morning. During the session, pupils shared their thoughts on making healthy choices in terms of what they eat and how they exercise.

As we round off the first half of the Spring term with a celebration of the natural world for our very own CHS carnival, we can reflect on the tremendous success that 2024 has already brought.

Milder temperatures and slightly longer days have come with the arrival of February.

Mrs Hampton started the week with a wonderful Good Work assembly on Monday.

We were delighted to welcome visitors from both prestigious good school guides this week.

Poppy in Form Two, for creating a wonderful 3D insect in art club. Brilliant use of symmetrical pattern on the wings and a lovely textured background, well done Poppy!
