Although only a four day week, it has proven to be an extremely busy week with plenty of news to share.

What a wonderful week of Coronation inspired learning!

The children have been so eager to come back into school for the start of the Summer term!

Open Day was a wonderful success, we hope you all had an enjoyable morning exploring the school and seeing all the marvellous work the children have been up to.

I’m sure you will all agree that our poetry afternoon was a huge success.

Bravo to the children for enthusiastically practising their poems for the Poetry Recital.

We have had the most fantastic week with a splendid Poetry Competition.

We are looking forward to our annual Poetry Competition in school on Wednesday morning. Mrs Woodcock, the Head of Francis Holland North, will be joining us to judge the poems.

Today was Carnival Day for our Key Stage Two pupils.

Wow! What a week the children have had! Storytelling at its finest was heard throughout the school.

We have had a wonderful week full of cultural celebrations from Chinese New Year to Burns Night. The school has been full of music and dance.

The children have had a positive week. I am pleased to see hats, scarves and gloves keeping our children warm as they arrive each morning.

The second week of the Spring term has been super productive and very happy.  The children have settled back into school life well and are learning keenly.
