The week started off on a high note with the much-anticipated first House Points reveal of the year during Monday’s assembly.

Happy New Year! It has been wonderful, welcoming all of your children back to school after the festive season.

The final week of the term began with pupils from Forms Four to Six delighting guests at the Victory Services Club with a festive selection of songs.

The Festive Postbox will be open for one last day on Monday, 9th December, for children to postcards to their classmates.

What a cold and chilly week it has been! Please remember to ensure children are arriving at school with hats, scarves and both gloves clearly labelled with their names.

The cold weather has certainly arrived at school this week, with temperatures dropping as we head into winter.

The school is finally free of scaffolding, with all building works completed just in time for the exciting visit from the Jigsaw Company which is our scheme of work for Personal, Social and Health Education.

We began the week by introducing the new PSHE topic, Celebrating Differences, during assembly.

This week began with a Good Work Assembly with Mrs Hampton, where the children’s efforts and achievements from the first half term were celebrated.

Our pupils kicked off the week with a wonderful assembly led by all members of the Pupil Council from Form Two to Form Six.

Last week the pupils got to meet in their respective house groupings to attend a hustings event where the prospective candidates for the role of House Captain had an opportunity to set out why they would be the best person to choose for this prestigious new role. 

What a week it has been at school! The buzz in the air has been incredible with our House and Vice Captain elections taking centre stage today.

Mrs Hampton had the pleasure of reconnecting with past pupils during her visit to Francis Holland Regent's Park this morning.

A beautiful day to end the week, with the sun shining as our Junior footballers headed off to Hyde Park for an afternoon of sports.

We are delighted to welcome everyone back to CHS for what we hope will be another fantastic year.

What a way to end the school year!

In our penultimate week of the year, we have completed a very full timetable with a series of exciting events and activities.

Sports Day was phenomenal this year, featuring a new format inspired by the Olympics.

The sun is shining brightly this afternoon as we welcome back most of our classes following their exciting school trips.
