Junior Christmas Play and Senior Choir Performance - Thursday 11 December

The children and teachers have all been working hard to prepare for their end of year performance which will take place at St John’s Church, a short walk from school, at 2.30 pm.

Please note that the children will be dismissed to parents directly from the church when performance conclude. There will be no after-school clubs running on this day.

Festive Postbox

The festive postbox will close on the morning of Wednesday, 10th December when the Form Six elves will help deliver the cards and festive cheer in the afternoon on Wednesday, 10th December.

Marylebone Project - whole school donation

Volunteers from our Parents Fundraising committee delivered a very generous collection of dried and tinned foods, clothes and products for this local charity.

“A heartfelt thank you for your support! Your donation brings light into the lives of so many!”

Form Six Open Dance

Form Six pupils enjoyed sharing their last dance lesson with their parents. Sadly Miss Ellie was ill on the day but Mr Taylor stepped in to lead the children through their exercises and help them to fine tune their final dance. Well done dancers.

Community Partnership - Festive Carol Singing at Penfold Community Hub

This afternoon, the children in Forms 5 and 6 visited Penfold Community Hub to sing Christmas carols, creating a truly special moment for everyone involved. The residents happily joined in with the familiar songs, and the celebration ended on everyone’s favourite, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. After the singing, the children delivered festive cards made by pupils across the entire school, adding an extra touch of warmth to the visit. It was a lovely example of community partnership, bringing generations together and spreading joy. The residents were extremely grateful for the visit and shared how much they look forward to welcoming the children back again next year.

Form Two and Three Open Swim

We were delighted to welcome a host of parents to watch Forms Two and Three in the water for their final swimming lesson. The children demonstrated their progress in both pools - developing their swimming styles before being given a treat in the water for the final few minutes with floats and water polo balls.

Artwork of the week

Kian, in Form One, for a wonderful soft-sculpture fish, inspired by Paul Klee’s ‘Fish Magic’. Fantastic use of colour and pattern, well done Kian!

Finally, we would like to commend our Form Six pupils who have done a sterling job so far with their 11+ exams. We are so very proud of you!
