TERM FEES
Unlike the majority of independent schools, Connaught House fees cover tuition and stationery, lunches and snacks provided in school, junior and senior club sessions, class music requirements including recorders and all normal school trips and activities.

The school operates on a three term year

JUNIOR ONE (Reception from 4 Years)

Inclusive tuition charge: £5,200
Children are taken into Junior One on the understanding that they will continue into the Main School.

MAIN SCHOOL (5-11 years)

Inclusive tuition charge: £5,700
There is a conditional 10% discount on the tuition fee for a second child attending the Main School conjointly, only if fees are paid by the first day of the term.

SCREENING

A charge of up to £75 will be added to the Summer Term Account for all new pupils to cover screening of sight, hearing and language skills.

INDIVIDUAL MUSIC LESSONS

The charge for music lessons is between £25-28.00 per half hour sesson and there are normally 10 lessons per term.

CHESS

The charge for chess lessons is £10 per lesson and and UK Chess Challenge Entry and Certificates of Excellence are also available.

NOTICE FOR REMOVAL OF A CHILD FROM THE SCHOOL OR FOR THE DISCONTINUANCE OF AN EXTRA LESSON INCLUDING MUSIC & CHESS

A full term’s notice must be received, in writing, on or before the first day of the final term or, in lieu of this notice, a full term’s fees will be immediately due. This rule also applies to the discontinuance of music lessons and any extra-curricular lesson.

REGISTRATION & DEPOSITS

Registration fee: £100
Confirmation deposit for Junior One: £3,000
Confirmation deposit for the Main School: £3,000
Confirmation deposit for younger siblings: £1,000
All deposits are non- returnable.
The deposit is non-refundable if the place is not taken up
It will be refunded against the final term’s account, on condition that;
1) The child has attended at least four terms in the Main School and does not leave at the end, or during any part, of the Reception Year.
2) Parents have notified the school in writing by the first day of the final term.
When circumstances are uncertain, we strongly advise parents to give provisional notice.

PAYMENT

All fees should be paid in full on, or before, the first day of each term. An administration charge of £75 will be made on all fees unpaid 14 days after the beginning of term and additional interest will be charged on late payments.  If preferred, fees can be paid over ten months by standing order, from September to June, As long as there is no default on monthly payments, there is no charge for this facility.

SIBLING POLICY

The School Policy is to give preference to brothers and sisters of children in the school, but early registration is appreciated.

BURSARIES

Bursaries, available for girls from 7+ or 8+, are awarded on the basis of academic performance in school, or by academic examination for children joining the school.
In certain circumstances, boys and girls can be considered for discriminatory bursaries at an earlier stage.
There are a number of music bursaries awarded to boys and girls who have made exceptional progress with their musical studies in school.
