CHS ART FESTIVAL WEEK

This should prove to be a most exciting week for the children thanks to the generosity of CHS parents, staff and family friends.

Photography for the senior girls

Portrait making with photographer, Lydia Goldblatt.

Lydia received an MA in Photography with Distinction, from London College of Communications. Her commercial work has been featured in publications such as The Sunday Times, Saturday Times, Guardian Weekend and Wallpaper magazines and she was recently artist in residence at Camberwell College of Arts.

Architectural Appreciation for Form Three

Mr Simon Dance is coming in to show and talk about one of his latest architectural projects.

Art History for Forms Two to Six

A talk by Professor Donatella Sparti for Forms Two and Three.

A talk by Mrs Serena Reeve for the senior girls.

THURSDAY

Art Workshops for Junior One and Form One

A special art lesson with Mr Hampton for Junior One.

An art workshop with Michelle Ackerley from the BBC children’s programme, Deadly Art for Form One.

Design for Forms Three & Four

A chance for the children to design their own, personal logo workshop with Ms Christien van Yzendoorn.

FRIDAY

Art and Craft for Junior One

Another exciting, creative workshop for Forms organised by Ms Siglinde Buhl.

Fashion for the Senior Girls

A workshop about fashion and fashion illustration with Zarina Liew.

Zarina works in the high end of the fashion industry (Net-a-Porter) and is also a freelance fashion illustrator and award-winning artist. She was recently included in Vogue Magazine’s list of up and coming fashion illustrators.
